In a Christmasy Mood..

...I'm dreaming of a white Christmas...

I'm not actually dreaming of a White Christmas right now. It's my colleague, Anton. He has been playing Christmas songs since the beginning of Nov. He got us all in a Christmasy mood all over now by playing Neri Per Caso's a capella version of White Christmas through his ultra powerful speakers.

The songs make us feel warm in our freezing cold air-conditioned shophouse office. Xmas is the season of snow, celebration and presents exchanging. It used to be so much more exciting when I was a kid - wrapping presents, decorating the tree and watching Home Alone and Disney's adaptation of Scrooge on TV/videotapes while the rain (not snow, unfortunately) pitter-pattered on the windows on Xmas day.

The rain still falls on Xmas day, but somehow there's less of present exchanging and not as many good Xmas movies around too. I can only reminisce on those days.

Anyway we are supposed to decorate our office but nobody has done anything yet. Never mind, the music alone is good enough :) Let the music play on..

...And may all your Christmases be white...
