Decisions

Interviewer: What makes you a successful CEO?

CEO: By making the right decisions.

Interviewer: And what does it take to make the right decisions?

CEO: By making the wrong decisions.



Assuming the above is true, maybe I can be a CEO one day :P

Kuih Balu (cont')

It turns out that I'm right. Another native Indonesian from Jakarta told me the original name of the cake is kuih bolu.

A compliment

An elderly lady commented that I was a 乖孩子 (a good child) through her daughter, Sophia.

I surprised myself when I replied Sophia, "Hope that was a compliment!".

As far as I know, being a 乖孩子 benefits the people around me the most. Because a 乖孩子 is so susceptible to being taken advantage of.
